David C. Nolte, Treasurer

Mr. Nolte was Born in New York City, N.Y. in 1943.  After attending public schools. In 1966 Mr. Nolte graduated from American University’s, School of Government and Public Administration, with his  B.A.

 

Mr. Nolte also serves on the local board of the Salvation Army and Ducks Unlimited. Prior to this Mr. Nolte served on boards for the Humane Society, Life for Youth Camp, The United Way, The 100 Club, Christ by the Sea and the United Methodist Church.

 

In 1990 Honorable Nolte was selected as the ‘‘Member of the Year’’ by the 8,500 member International Association of Assessing Officers. Mr. Nolte is a past President of the Florida Association of Property Appraisers, and holds the professional designations CFA (Certified Florida Appraiser) and ASA (Accredited Senior Appraiser).

 

Mr. Nolte has earned at least 24 hours of continuing education credit for the past 30 years and continues to give presentations to local, state and international conferences on Appraising, the Proper Role of Government and Hurricane Damage.

 

Mr. Nolte resides in Indian River County with his wife of 29 years Michelle. The Nolte’s are the proud parents of Christian, David and Gretchen, six grandchildren with the seventh grandchild due in August 2011. Sadly, the Nolte’s lost their youngest son Michael in 2007.
